Teach will arrange a group flight to arrive in Dublin before the start of the course. The students may chose to travel on their own. Dublin airport is 30 minutes from Trinity College Dublin. There is an Aircoach service (24 hour service) from the airport to the front entrance of Trinity College Dublin, the cost of which is €7
Most TEACH students choose to travel with the TEACH group to the UK. The discounted flights are made available through a travel agency. It is the student’s responsibility to inform the university about arrival details. Families and friends are also eligible for discounted fares.
What is the deadline for applying?
All applications for Teacher Training must be submitted to Trinity College Dublin before Dec 1st. Please submit all applications to TEACH office by November 20th.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
There is a deposit of 500. You must pay the deposit within two weeks of receiving the offer of a place from Trinity College Dublin.
Do I need health coverage in the UK?
All international students should arrange for medical insurance cover for the duration of their studies in Ireland. The following health insurance companies will be able to arrange health cover for you in Ireland

OHIP

When are information sessions held?
These sessions usually take place in January/February. The students will be informed with details of the session and it will also be posted online under TEACH website.
Can I apply for OSAP?
Teacher Training courses at Trinity College Dublin are eligible for OSAP. Those students living in other provinces should contact their provincial loan provider for details. http://osap.gov.on.ca/
Will I need a Passport?
All students must have a valid passport. Please ensure that your passport is valid for the full length of your stay outside of Canada.
Should I assign power of attorney to a friend or family member?
You should appoint a relative/friend as your Power of Attorney in case you require your OSAP funds deposited in a Canadian bank or in the event that you require money transferred to you in the Ireland.
Referee Reports
Trinity College Dublin requires two referees report (academic reference) with the student application. The referee reports will be provided to the
students with the application form to be completed by their referees.
Response to your application
You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your application at Trinity College from TEACH staff.
Teachable subjects
School of Education in Trinity College Dublin will try to ensure that you have two teaching methods, major and a minor, if you wish to teach in high school.

University transcripts
Please submit an original of your latest university transcript. Many students submit university transcripts with the final year subjects outlined as being in progress. This is acceptable to the overseas universities.

Working part time in the UK
International students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week while they are studying in Ireland.
