Testimonial from Leslie Dresser presently attending the University of Auckland
I chose Teach due to it's high recommendation from other people who have used it in the past. I found them very helpful, especially during the crunch time before leaving the country. Due to their help and the connections I made because of them, I am at the school of my dreams working my way towards the career I have always wanted, and living with my fellow Canadians, who also used Teach, experiencing these life adventures with the most amazing people who have added greatly to my new life's adventure.
Jenni Keyes
One of my biggest passions is travelling, and while teaching is an excellent profession to do this with, it was obviously important that the qualification I earned be transferable across different nations.  When reading up about the university, too, I realized that The University of Auckland was a leading university in several areas.  Knowing this also affected my decision to study here.

New Zealanders are very similar to Canadians, so the adjustment, in that sense, was easy.  The degree I’d earned in Canada had made for a busy four years, so while the teaching programme I chose to study was intensive, it was certainly manageable.  I gained an excellent teaching qualification, great friends, a lifetime of memories and an unforgettable experience.

Jenni Keyes
, originally from Burlington, Ontario, enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary) in 2006.  Jenni is now a teacher at Waikowhai Intermediate in Auckland, the same school where she did her final six-week placement as a student.  She plans to travel and teach overseas in the future before returning to Canada.
