| Moray House School of Education, University of Edinburgh, Scotland |
The Moray House School of Education is situated in the heart of the Old Town of Edinburgh, an area rich in historical associations, one that in the past has often been the centre of some of the most interesting developments in Scottish life. From the Moray House, many of Edinburgh's most famous landmarks can be seen: the Canongate Tolbooth, the spire of the Tron Kirk, the monuments on Calton Hill and the former Royal High School. To the south and east lie the open spaces of the Queen's Park and in the distance beyond the descending rooftops of the city and the waters of the River Forth. Within a short walk can be found many of Edinburgh's renowned cultural and recreational facilities: theatres, art galleries, concert halls, swimming pools and sport centres. |
