| Practical Teaching Experience |
Beginning teachers will carry out block practices in the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. Practical experience will include structured observation of teaching; the effective management of classrooms, including the planning and preparation of pupils' learning; teaching under close supervision; accessing the work of pupils and evaluating one's own teaching and training in the general duties of a teacher in school. |

Postgraduate Primary Course
The Institute's Primary PGCE programme offers a number of full time places to TEACH students.The Primary PGCE is run in partnership with over 350 primary schools in and around London who are jointly responsible for the programme and its development, through strong links between the Institute and school-based elements of the course.
The PGCE Primary is a modular course attracting masters level credits. On successful completion of the programme, you may be eligible to carry forward up to 90 credits to a masters degree, giving you the opportunity to start your professional development. |
